BIOGRAFIA
Nata a Roma, dopo il diploma conseguito al Liceo Linguistico, seguo la passione per il disegno e per l'arte, decidendo di iscrivermi alla triennale di Scenografia presso la RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts). Lì inizio ad essere coinvolta nel mondo del teatro e della creatività connessa ad esso, capendo però che è l’ambito del costume quello che realmente mi appassiona. Dopo la laurea, mi iscrivo dunque al Master "L'arte del costumista per l'opera lirica e il balletto", presso l'Accademia di Costume e Moda di Roma, dove ho la possibilità di studiare, apprendere e amare tutte le sfaccettature del lavoro di costumista. Grazie all’Accademia ho avuto modo di collaborare alla creazione dei costumi per la Bella Addormentata, in scena al Teatro Massimo di Palermo nel dicembre 2017.
Nel luglio 2018 e nel dicembre 2018 ho avuto la possibilità di lavorare come assistente costumista a due importanti produzioni di due enti lirici, la prima presso il Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (assistente di Frederic Olivier per il balletto Romeo e Giulietta) e la seconda al Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova (seguendo Anna Biagiotti, con un nuovo allestimento dell’opera Aida). Entrambi i lavori mi hanno permesso di migliorare le mie capacità a lavorare sotto pressione e con scadenze precise, sia nell’ambiente della sartoria sia in quello “dietro le quinte” del Teatro stesso.
BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Rome and after graduating from a Language high school, I followed my passion for drawing and arts deciding to get a degree in set and theatre design at RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts). There I began to be involved in the theatre’s worls and in the creativity connected to it, but I also understood that what really fascinated me was the scope of costume. So I decide to enroll in the Master "The art of costume designer for opera and ballet", at Accademia di Costume e Moda in Rome, where I have the opportunity to study, learn and love all the things about costume designer work. Thanks to the Academy I was able to collaborate in the creation of costumes for Sleeping Beauty, staged at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo in December 2017.In July 2018 and December 2018 I had the opportunity to work as assistant costume designer in two major productions of two opera houses, the first at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome (assistant of Frederic Olivier for the ballet Romeo and Juliet) and the second at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa (following Anna Biagiotti, with a new Aida set-up). Both jobs have allowed me to improve my ability to work under pressure and with precise deadlines, both in the setting of the tailoring and in the "behind the scenes" of the Theater itself.
