The meeting, to be held on the occasion of the 81st edition of the Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica, marks the beginning of the Encyclopedia's promotional tour and will be attended by the ASC President, costume designer Carlo Poggioli, the EDASC project's Creators and Artistic Directors, production designer and architect Tiziana Amicuzi and Scenografia&Costume's Editor in Chief, journalist Francesca Romana Buffetti.
During the event, issue 29 of Scenografia&Costume and “A spasso con... ASC,” an original section of the Encyclopedia that involves the creation of interactive maps enriched with podcasts dedicated to itinerant routes around Italy dedicated to film tourism, will also be presented.
EDASC is a bilingual (Italian and English) application developed by the start-up Onda Theta, which is versatile, extensible and modular: a tool for study, work and relationships aimed at production designers, costume designers and set decorators, professionals in the film-audiovisual and theatrical sector, students of academies and art institutes, as well as professionals, craftspeople and suppliers, enthusiasts, insiders and tour operators.
The ASC Digital Encyclopedia, the first of its kind in Italy, is a continuously updated “hub/place” where the articles and insights published and to be published by the ultra-decade-old magazine Scenografia&Costume will be available, as well as an annotated collection of what each professional has produced during their career. At the same time, it is configured as an app that can network and publicize the talent and creativity of the behind-the-scenes professionals and the craft supply chain and suppliers connected to them, which has always been a cornerstone of Made in Italy.
We look forward to seeing you,
Best regards,
The ASC President and the ASC Board
Carlo Poggioli
